    This is also called the ‘elevator pitch’. The idea is that you only have 1 minute to sum up your business and why someone should buy from you. You want to put your best foot forward.

    I am still working on my elevator pitch. It can be hard to squeeze all of this information into just a minute or two.

    It can be difficult when you are ‘put on the spot’. Sometimes you have the best speech prepared in your mind; but when confronted with the opportunity to discuss your business, it is easy to freeze up.

    I would try to keep it as short (and least confusing) as possible. Sum up your business in 10 words or less and leave them with either a sample or a flyer/business card. This way they are intrigued and you haven’t bored them to death 🙂

    This is a good answer to have before you need it. Like the others have said, being able to think about it on command is much too difficult. Great advice.
