E-mail can become a real compulsion.
I find people hang onto their crackberries as well. Looking at them every minute. What is that all about?

You just can’t to check over and over again… its all about habit…

@Toby – Twitter is my crack. I would free up 1/3 of my day if I went to Twitterhab (Twitter Rehab). LOL
I can relate to this post. I often find myself doing the same things out of habit. I check my email every 5 minutes. I am on Facebook at least every hour or so. I can only imagine the time that I would save by implementing this policy.
I like “Twitterhab”, AllenA
I don’t know why I am compelled to check the news 5 times a day. What do I think happened in an hour or two that can’t wait? I have no explanation for this.
Most of the emails I get are unimportant. Checking for new emails is really a waste of time, and I think I could very easily limit it each day.
I think the power to focus on one thing is under rated itself. People should you direct their intention to to things and give attention to what they want to grow. my usual one routine is to check the email of course. having done that I do other things. making sure everything gets full attention.
